Join Bella Lilley and Michelle Levi for a unique retreat, Unleash your True Self, where we will offer a wide variety of meditative, somatic and vocal practices that will help you let go of out-dated conditioning and reconnect with your creative and authentic expression in a relaxed and playful way.
What to expect:
Daily morning practice of gentle yoga and transformative breath work
Embodied vocal explorations that will increase your confidence in personal expression and in your singing voice
Delicious meditarranean-inspired vegetarian food
Time for rest, reflection and doing nothing
Yoga Nidra practices to enable deep healing rest
Restorative Yoga Practices
Rituals for heart connection and inner transformation
Playful dance moments
Joyful singing moments
Time spent immersed in the wonders of Spring time Dartmoor both within the group and alone
Who is it for?:
This retreat is open to ALL levels of experience in Yoga and Voice work - yes complete beginners are welcome. The practices we will do enable both beginners and very experienced practitioners to be side by side with everyone benefitting tremendously. If you have been told as a child that ‘you can’t sing’ - please come! And if you are professional singer there will still be new ways of using the voice that we will introduce you to. Just as in the Zimbabwean proverb ‘If you can walk you can dance, if you can talk you can sing’ we believe at Holistic Yoga Retreats that
‘If you can bring then you can do yoga’

The venue is a perfect place for this kind of contemplation - practice yoga to the sound of bubbling brook, wake up to birdsong. Let your senses feast on the delicious scents and beautiful colours of the wild and garden flowers. Wander freely through the woods and relax into the spaciousness of the open moors.
We are blessed to have a wonderful Mediterranean Chef who will be serving us delicious and nutritious food, mostly organic and PEOPLE ON VEGAN AND GLUTEN FREE DIETS ARE MOST WELCOME!
We will explore mindfulness of eating to improve our relationship with food and to enhance our digestion.

The word ‘transformative’ is often overused in retreat circles and publicity, however I have now attended 2 of Michelle’s weekend retreats and on both occasions, I left feeling not only calmer and physical stronger but also having changed my mindset or mood in some way. I would highly recommend Michelle’s retreats - she provides a very supportive environment for participants of all experience levels.

It's been a wonderful space to push my boundaries and experiment with sounding in different ways - to take the plunge and make noise. This is something that has been really shut down for me in the past from childhood. I'm someone who would seldom speak up in a group - let alone sing! And now that has completely changed!

She is someone who carries both gentleness and strength and this creates a very powerful container. I enjoyed the spaciousness she offers to each person to be however we need to be, complete permission for all emotions and experiences.

Great to have such a knowledgeable, experienced and compassionate teacher. Great that she came and adjusted or gave advice to individuals. I never felt bad that I couldn’t do all the poses. Great variety of techniques/ poses/ breathing - fantastic!
